Human beings are very dynamic creatures. The internal state of a human being ever changing- the modes of change or the channels of influence is the sensory apparatus of the human being. The senses take in feedback and induce an emotional response or feelings within a human – these feelings are the cornerstone or driving agent behind human motivation and action – People who are emotionally intelligent are generally socially superior to individuals who lack emotional intelligence- the locus of control is internal- which essentially means that they are motivated from within and they don’t allow exterior feedback to steer their actions. These people are not detached from society or extra-human or subhuman rather they are wise in the sense they take in input, or acknowledge input that helps their cause and ignore any feedback that is detrimental to their state—self-doubt, lack of confidence, self-esteem, lack of motivation, lack of direction – these kinds of issues and problems don’t exist for such individuals. They are the true masters and commanders of their ships. They are the absolutely in control of themselves. They are unaware of victim mentality.

life death

Life is so fragile. We loose perspective of this, being caught in the superficial whirlpool of ever-engulfing activities; forgetting the only thing that is guaranteed … death.
Encounter with death is humbling, grounding and weirdly motivating. The idea that today, we are and tomorrow we aren’t makes one want to make the most out of today.
Being affected by the loss of a dear loved one leaves one dazed, confused and disoriented

Commitment to commitment is the hardest thing, perhaps.

random thought

I can be wrong. And I have put this disclaimer upfront because often, I am...

Although I can be wrong ... but I think ... rather I guess... and I guess I have eyes so that i can see all the shades of different colors. I guess i have ears so that i hear different frequences of variant sounds. I guess I have a tongue so that i taste a mosiac of flavors. I guess i have a nose so that I am not deprived of olfactory feedback. and i guess i have sensitivity of skin so that i can tell if i am touched...

But what are feelings for? Why do i have emotions? Why do i feel good when i see a someone smile? Why do i feel disgusted when i taste something rotten? Why do i feel sad when i hear something tragic? why do i feel repulsive when i smell something pungent?

Why am i so lost??

obama to his shrink ...

I am made to think i m a leader but i believe i m just a follower...
I am made to believe i am a player but i know i m just a pawn...
I am made to think i matter but all ive added to is chatter ...
What do i do? where do i go?
I thougth we could ... but now i m not so shoo...

Pakistan --

What is happening to Pakistan?
Leadership - What is a leader
What does a leader do?
What happens if there isnt a leader

Pakistan has a leadership vaccum.

This seems like a well orchestrated scheme - for the ground is set for anyone who has the balls to come out and speak -- for anyone to go on the streets and mobilize the masses and make them realize the grativity of the situation. The average joe pakistani is drugged, dazed and confused... like he has been for the past 50 odd years. But at the moment he is extremely lost and he has become impervious to any and everything. There is no sensitivity towards the accuteness of the situation.

Times like these are when leaders are born. These are the times when people realize that no one will come to save them, not even God until the time that they decide to save themselves. Its times like these that nations describe themselves by defining revolutions.

Bob Marley's "get up stand up, stand up for your right" comes to mind but who will get up and play this track in the minds of this pulverized people? Who will make this people realize their true potential, their true worth?
-------

In other unrelated, irrelevant news ... a scientist has made a shocking revelation, a discovery that has the potential to be coverd by academic journals and publications around the globe. A striking claim in a recent study sponsored by a research institute says that the Pakistani Political elite/leadership does not belong to the homo sapien species rather these human looking, human behaving-quite human individuals are actually invertebrates!
ps. Interestingly enough the scientist was noted to be a political scientist.

true lies - part one

The Line between reality and perception can be a very thin one. Some argue that reality is shaped or stirred by perception. The war on terror is becoming a war of perception creation and management. As much as arms and artillery, bombs and bunker busting are being utilized; so is media and propaganda. With arms comes blood and with blood, an attack becomes obvious but when an attack is on the psyche or persona of someone the effects are much more sublime, much more covert.

Pakistan is at war with “terror” from within. Pakistan has been at this for a few years now and this Pakistan can, and has handled it sufficiently and adequately. This war on terror is ours to win and win we shall! However there are attacks hurled at the Pakistani state apparatus, establishment and more importantly people from outside. These attacks are not necessarily militant or violent attacks rather these are to demoralize the people. These are to induce chaos. These attacks are targeting our mental homeostasis and anticipating us to give in-mentally--

A day doesn't go without commentary from western media, academics and intellectual circles on Pakistan- its army and its arms. ........ To Be CONt'd ..... >>>>
